These are in the order in which I visited them, not in order of preference. They are included on my page because they took the time to allow me to introduce my business to them in an attempt to form a relationship. The descriptions are my own opinion. It is my hope you find the perfect place for your wedding.
The Veranda, Bryan, Texas - the-veranda.com - The Veranda is off Hwy 21. On arrival to the venue, I instantly felt at ease. The grounds are beautiful, but once inside the gate, I felt like I was in a different world . Hwy 21 was miles and miles away from me. I'd recommend this venue if you are looking for a laid back place to have your reception. Its perfect for country chic.
An Inn @ Quarry Ridge, Bryan, Texas - innatquarryridge.com - The proprietors of Inn at Quarry Ridge are wonderfully sweet people, dedicated to making your event special. The Inn is comfortably elegant in a beautiful country setting. The atmosphere is comforting. One of my many favorite parts was the beautiful porch overlooking the pool and gazebo. The style is a little shabby chic, mixed with eclectic, mixed with elegance. For small or large groups, this is a wonderful upscale place to be.
Ambers Arbor, Navasota, Texas - ambersarbor.net - Ambers Arbor is a beautiful venue in the making. This is a wonderful place for the bride on a budget. The owners have put a lot of time into making something comfortable and wonderful for the wedding reception. Their mission is to give you the reception of your dreams, within your budget.
Brazos Cotton Exchange Ballroom - brazoscottonexchange.com - If you love shabby chic elegance and your reception is rather small, this is the place for you. On the third floor of an historic building in Downtown Bryan, the 19 arched windows of the room are breathtaking. I have a special place in my heart for old buildings and I admire the work that has gone into preserving Downtown Bryan. This room is just the most awesome room I've ever been in. Totally made my heart skip a beat.
The Kyle House - thekylehouse.com - I met with the planning company for Kyle House and didn't get to actually tour the house. The people I met with were very sweet and easy to work with. If you want an easy group, this is the place for you.
Winddancer Retreat - winddancerretreat.com - This is a beautiful facility, out in the middle of the country, where I believe they raise horses. The facility from the outside reminded me of a chapel. The inside was very open with a cathedral ceiling and huge windows. The owners were comfortable and easy to talk to. Its a great shabby chic, country chic, french country chic setting, and is very elegant. I look forward to adding cakes to this setting to see how it changes each time.
Lacey Farms - https://laceyfarms.com - You walk across a covered bridge that opens to the lavender fields, the outdoor ceremony area and the front of the reception hall. The chandeliers in the reception hall are amazing! The owners were so sweet to me when I visited and I really enjoyed my time there. It sits on a working lavender farms and I imagine spring weddings are intoxicating. Just as impressive is the 100 year old barn that includes the grooms changing room, but also makes a heavenly backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. The trees are absolutely beautiful. You get a little bit of everything in this quaint but elegant setting.
Astin Mansion - https://www.astinmansion.com - This 100 year old home has been the setting for many events over the years. My first time visiting it was in 2010 when I delivered one of my first eve4 wedding cakes. I only ventured to the kitchen and the reception hallway that visit. Recently, I’ve had the pleasure to do several events here and the blue room always captures my heart. Chris Dodgen is the current curator of this beautiful place . If you’re looking for southern style with an elegant and graceful backdrop, this place is for you. I haven’t ventured up the stairs yet, but I bet they are just as elegant as the downstairs. There’s a covered courtyard and a carriage house that doubles as a bar. Chris knows all the history and he’s very easy to work with. You will also find Carriage House florals here. They make incredible floral designs.
The Gin at Hildalgo Falls -www.theginathidalgofalls.com - Massive! It’s just huge, Beautiful, comfortable, loads of history I imagine. The windows are everywhere! I loved the laidback richness of this venue. Cozy, romantic, and elegant!
The Weinberg at Wixon Valley -www.theweinbergatwixon.com - Breathtaking! The chandeliers alone will make you sigh. Beautiful grounds. They even hid the parking lot so outdoor pictures have a beautiful backdrop without getting photobombed by cars. They’ve thought of everything. It’s a really beautiful venue and one I always love walking into. I haven’t seen the upstairs, but I’m guessing they are quite awesome themselves.
Peach Creek Ranch - www.peachcreekranch.com - a beautiful property. No matter if you want and indoor or outdoor wedding, it’s a beautiful place to be.
The Antique Rose Emporium - www.antiqueroseemporium.com - one of my favorite places for so many reasons. Gorgeous gazebo covered in rose vines makes for a beautiful ceremony backdrop. They have a red barn chapel, and a gorgeous reception hall with covered patio. The grounds of this venue are so carefully thought out yet natural. If I were going to marry again, I’d do it here.
